Steam Summer Sale Brings the Pain to Gamers’ Wallets Everywhere
Okay, wait. Don’t move. Don’t…move. Okay, you’re still okay. If you just very slowly move your head…away…from your computer screen right now…and don’t keep reading…maybe it won’t see you.
Oh, God, it’s too late, isn’t it. I put it in the headline like a jackass — the Steam Summer Sale. I was trying to save you from getting sucked in and buying 500 games you probably can’t even find the time to play just because they’re all priced at about 50 cents.
Well, as long as you’re here, might as find you something to spend YOUR ENTIRE PAYCHECK ON right now. Like this Bethesda pack, with the Game of the Year editions of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and The Elderscrolls IV: Oblivion, for about $15 and about $9, respectively. Or this insane Valve pack that has every game it makes available for about $50. Same thing with this Rockstar pack. It’s much more economical to just buy ALL the games rather than just one or two, right?
For the full rundown of all the games on sale, plus daily deals and other things to make the numbers in your bank account dwindle and the ones on your credit card statement swell, go here. I’d write them all down for you, but that’d be a massive waste of time for all of us.
