SteelSeries Sponsored Teams Take Home More Than $1.3M
SteelSeries, the company that recently rolled out its new World of Warcraft mouse for MMO gamers, was the big winner of the DotA2 tournament at GamesCom last week. Teams sponsored by SteelSeries brought home more than $1.3 million dollars in winnings from the various tournaments, but $1.25M of that came from the highly anticipated DotA2, a game that promises to give eSports a shot in the arm.
