In a recent interview with Capcom’s Seth Killian, he was asked to place a percentage on how close the game is to being complete. From the sounds of things, the game is moving along quite nicely:
“It’s hard to give an overall percentage because parts of the game are very polished while others are still being developed. If I had to guess, based on Ono-san’s earlier percentages, I’d say the game is closer to 50% done right now. Again, in some ways that’s an under-estimation because it’s totally playable already (as everyone will see soon). So, some characters, stages, and features are nearly done, while others are still in development.”
Of course, I’m sure the parts that are polished include Ryu, Ken, and that China level that every single piece of media for the game keeps showing over and over again. Ono-san apparently said the game was 10% complete back in September, so if production continues at this rate, the game should be finished around the end of June. Then maybe we can see some other characters from the series start showing up.

50% of all people know that you can make an assumption based on percentages 44% of the time.
All I care about is when it’s finished!
