Street Fighter IV's Rufus Is the Second Creepiest Fighting Game Character Ever

streetfighterrufus1-1.jpg

Capcom has released a new batch of screens for the upcoming Street Fighter IV that mostly show off one of the new characters, Rufus. At a glance, I already don’t like him for two reasons: the long, braided ponytail and the yellow jumpsuit with the plunging crotch that reveals some fuzz creeping up from his nether regions. It’s like Fat Bastard from Austin Powers fell into an 80′s hair band’s closet, but then let a Girl Scout do his hair. It’s kind of hard to feel awesome if you’re playing as him. On the flipside though, being beaten by this guy is sure to be humiliating to the loser.

You can check out more disturbing screens of Rufus and a few of El Fuerte here.

[Update: Can't believe I forgot to include this, but Handshakes figured it out in the comments: the award for "Creepiest Fighting Game Character Ever" would definitely go to Soul Calibur's Voldo.]

I’ll be sure to play as him the most in parties

Then who is creepy character #1? My vote is on Voldo.

I saw the picture and just ask, “Why?” with my usual D: face.

Looks like Ronald McDonald has had one big n’ tasty too many and is SUPER pissed that his peen has shrunk to the size of a thimble.

it’s always amusing to see obviously obese characters with rock-solid pecs instead of floppy man boobs.

Hahaha… that’s so crazy, even if I weren’t a drinker seeing this guy is just laughable. It really made me go “are you being serious”. Funny stuff.

I third the vote for Voldo as creepiest – I love using him but those impossible bone bending moves and his disturbingly S/M style costume in SCII are too creepy to deny. And I actually like S/M!
