We weren’t really expecting Streets of Rage 2 to show up on XBLA today, but it was a pleasant surprise. I have fond memories of the old Sega Genesis classic. 400 MS points isn’t a lot to ask for a classic game like this and I’d have to say it’s worth the price. For some reason, Streets of Rage 2 always seemed like a cool version of Double Dragon to me. The game looks like it’s the same as the old one, but they have added a few new playable characters and updated a few minor things. If you never experienced one of the best “beat em’ ups” from the Genesis era, here is your chance.
