Super Mario Bros. X Fan Game Mixes Nintendo’s Universes (TRAILER)
Super Mario Bros. 3 was cool, but it would have been cooler with a few tweaks — specifically, the inclusion of Link. Somebody over at SuperMarioBros.org had that idea, and mixed in a few other Nintendo franchises as well in a fan-made tribute game called Super Mario Bros. X.
It’s free to download (get it here), and it is about as cool as playing Super Mario Bros. 3 on your computer can be.
What struck me most was just how much content there is in the game. The first episode comes with 50 levels, two-player co-op, a versus-style battle mode and — cous de gras — a level editor with thousands of assets. Ah-mazing.
Yeah. You’re going to want to play it.
