Super Smash Bros. Brawl: Golden Hammer

The latest item up in the Super Smash Bros. Dojo arsenal is the Golden Hammer. Not just any hammer, the Golden Hammer boasts a quicker swing, coming down harder for more bash for your buck. Also aparently if you tap it rapidly enough you can even beat gravity and float in midair.

Like the normal hammer that occasionally loses its head, the Golden Hammer has its own flaws, like occaisonaly turning into a squeak toy.

I forsee a lot of fun with this particular item. One of the most fun matches included getting a hammer and cleaning house, only to have the head of the hammer fall off. Having this hammer turn into a squeak toy will further embarrass the player who is swinging it around.

This is my kids all time favorite item ever in Smash Bros. I hear the music in my head everytime I see the thing! Should be hysterical to see the bloopers.

Cool. By the way, if this peach is at all similar to the melee version, then it’s her that floats, and the hammer doesn’t let you float.
