Super Smash Bros Leak Unveils Full 3DS/Wii U Roster

A potential leak may have revealed the full roster of Super Smash bros on Wii U and 3DS.

The leak, which surfaced in a NeoGAF thread, includes screenshot pointing to several new characters being added in with several others removed. The new characters would appear to include Bowser Jr., the Duck Hunt dog and Shulk from Xenoblade. Among the fighters cut from previous games meanwhile, are Solid Snake, Lucas, the Ice Climbers and Star Wolf. Several other characters such as Ness and R.O.B., will also be returning to the game.

While the exact source of this leaked content has yet to be confirmed, additionally released videos would seem to suggest that the edition of the game it derives from is the version sent to the ESRB for ratings purposes. In these videos the player’s name is “ESRB0083″. It’s worth noting that none of this has been confirmed by Nintendo as of just yet. Even so, the evidence is stacking pretty high on the “it’s the real deal” end of the scale.

Even if Nintendo says nothing however, we’ll definitely find out for sure in just a few short weeks. Super Smash Brothers is currently slated to release on 3DS on October 3rd, 2014. The Wii U edition, meanwhile, is expected to hit store shelves for “Holiday 2014.”
