Take-Two: “Nothing For Us To Say About” GTA 5 on PC

On this afternoon’s Take-Two Interactive earnings call with investors, company principals were asked if they had any news on a port of Grand Theft Auto 5 for the PC. Since neither T2 nor Rockstar have offered up any information on that topic unprompted, it’s not a surprise that T2 president Karl Slatoff’s response was empty.

“At this point there’s really nothing for us to say about that,” Slatoff said.

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said previously in the call that discussions about the future of individual properties will be left to the labels, meaning that when the time comes to reveal a PC version of GTA 5, Rockstar is going to be the one doing the talking.

We’ve heard rumblings about it incessantly, however, from a launch in the next several months to imminent pre-orders. Even though Red Dead Redemption never hit PC, it’s been considered a given that GTA 5 would, with the expectation it would do so within a year of initial launch.

It would be quite nice to get some AA up in that game, I have to say.

Strauss Zelnick, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc., is the head of ZelnickMedia, an investor in both Take-Two and Defy Media, LLC, our parent company. Reason why they have nothing to say because it dam right shameful they excluded us PC users. I suppose Skyrims $500 million profits from the PC buyers just isn’t good enough for to toffee noised gits up at Rockstar and Take Two!.

If they do release it to PC, it’ll just get pirated to every corner of the Earth. Nobody will actually buy it. I know I won’t.

Fred that’s a nice tinfoil hat you’re wearing there. You do realize that piracy exists on consoles too
and if someone wants to pirate a video game they will just do it anyways. Personally I purchased every GTA game that was released on PC excluding GTA 1 and GTA 2.

@Fred, no one believes anything you say anything and I can count on you to appear in every comment section like some depraved person with a personality disorder. Trolls are useless. The very fact that you brought up piracy on PC when it’s already been pirated shows the worthlessness of your statements. You also sound like you intend to pirate it. Either that or not play it at all. After months of this, everyone knows you for the troll you are.

I’ll also add, the fact that your trolling does work somewhat, but you are not tired of it after nearly 6 months. It doesn’t take a lot to entertain you for some reason…

@#$!!! oh, sorry I’m going off again. Well, I must say that you I’m having a breakdown and I’m out of meds. Truth is I’m emotional because I always rooted for the main guy at RS. With his locker room charm, good looks and sexy smile I had expected more for him with gta beyond the crush I have on him. My fantasy is to play gta 5 with him in the bedroom if you catch my drift. After playing hours of the ballad of tony, I can imagine pulling off his jockstrap with my teeth and going down on that bad boy joystick while wearing one of my newest dresses… “joystick”, meaning, playing games of course…
