Target: PS4 & Xbox One Games Are Buy Two, Get One Free [updated]

UPDATE: This sale only applies to PS4 games, not Xbox One titles. Sorry for the mess, everyone!

Target has a great Buy Two, Get One Free deal going on right now, and PS4 titles are eligible.

The sale is online only, and it seems to include all current-gen games, too, assuming they are available online. This means you could grab two PS4 titles for the launch later this week, or two Xbox One titles for later in the month, while also grabbing Pokemon X or Y  I even threw MarioKart Wii in the cart, and the Wii title’s price was discounted at checkout (see below, and click through for a bigger image).

Check out the deal page here, and make sure you…get getting while the getting is good? Or something like that. The offer expires on November 16th at 11:59PM PT. The games have to be available online to be eligible, but other than that I can’t see any restrictions. Next-gen titles won’t ship until their respective street dates.

I’m thinking of buying Assassin’s Creed IV, beyond that though I’ll have DC Universe, Planetside 2 and Warframe for free at launch.

With all that to play I doubt I’ll feel the itch to buy something until mid April at the earliest.

I went to Bestbuy since they normally honor other store sales, and they claimed the sale was illegal. Nothing on the internet supporting this claim. What gives?
