Team Ninja “Definitely Looking at” Making Use of Wii U Controller Functions

We know Ninja Gaiden 3 is headed to the Wii U, but it won’t be the same Ninja Gaiden 3 that we’ll be getting on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 early next year. The Wii U version, dubbed Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor’s Edge, will be a separate edition, but we’ve so far known not even a single detail about it.

We still don’t really know much about it, but Edge asked Team Ninja’s Yousuke Hayashi about it, and he said this: We’re definitely looking at using the Wii U controller.

Not much of an answer there. Since the Wii U version will officially be different from the other version, you can assume one of two things about it: that it will be built for waggle, or that it will be built for the Wii U’s special controller. That answer there doesn’t say one thing or another about which one it will be.
