Tekken 7 Confirmed at Madrid Event
Tekken 6 made headlines in 2009, mostly because it was released on something other than a PlayStation consoles. However, the fighting game has a long history, and it was almost certain that we’d see a new version at some point.
That point appears to be sometime soon, as Eurogamer.pt reports (via that translated link) that Tekken series director Katsuhiro Harada has announced a seventh edition in the series at an event in Madrid.
No real information is available about the title yet, but I am sure we’ll hear more about with E3 looming large just 3 weeks away. Then again, Tekken 6 was first announced at E3 2005, and didn’t hit consoles until last year. We’ll just have to see.
If we hear anything more from Namco, we’ll pass it directly along to you.

Who cares. T6 was such a horrible game.i sold mine after 4 days and much to my amazement there were 6 other people who also came to sell theirs!

I hope that the Tekken 7 don’t come out to Xbox 360. Would be another downgrade in this serie. PS3 have more capabilities than Xbox 360 that must be exploited.

God! Can’t wait to see its trailer. I just hope that Namco will keep Alisa; she’s so much fun to play with and against. Also, some new moves from her would be nice.

I hope it gets better. I’m a fan of the Tekken series. Tekken 3, 5 DR and Tag enjoyed the most. Looking forward to Tekken 7, Tekken Tag 2 and Tekken X Streetfighter.

I think tekken 7 will be TTT2 and characters list of ttt2 are out in wiki some unconfirmed but Azazel and lili is in it. Still good people who train it long is still capable of doing so

to be honest,i’m not really excited about this game. Actually i’m waiting for tekken tag 2. But i hope they keep christie. She’s my best character. Plus i wanna see what happens next now that her grandpa is dead!

I’am not and have never been much of a Tekken fan but I do personally like Heihachi, Jun(I really hope she appears in Tekken 7), Asuka, Emilie/Lili, Miguel, Feng Wei and Dragunov. Always personally liked these characters so I can look forward to Tekken 7 for that reason alone.
