Telltale is Doing a ‘Walking Dead’ Game

Telltale’s got a big lineup of games planned for the upcoming year, on top of the multiple episodes and versions of Back to the Future and the release of an episodic take on Jurassic Park due in March.

At the top of the list is some kind of Walking Dead game, which Telltale announced at a preview event in San Francisco last week.

There aren’t many details about the game yet — all we know is that Telltale signed a deal with the graphic novel series’ creator, Robert Kirkman, and it’ll be bringing the game to just about every platform it can (so like Back to the Future, we’ll be seeing it on PC, Mac, Playstation 3, and iPad — probably Xbox 360, too). Several games are planned over the next few years(!), but it seems they’ll concern the graphic novels rather than the wildly popular AMC television series based upon them.

Telltale also detailed a sequel to Puzzle Agent, more episodes of Monkey Island Tales and additional entries into the Hector: Badge of Carnage series — most of which will be making the rounds of platforms, so you’re bound to own at least one device capable of playing them.
