How to Unlock Every Costume

Note: To change costumes, return to Aunt May’s and approach Peter Parker’s closet. Follow the prompt to open the wardrobe menu and switch between your currently available selections.

Vigilante Suit:

  • How to Unlock: Automatically available. Unlocks after starting the main campaign.
  • The vigilante suit was first seen in ASM1, before Peter Parker created his first costume.

    Amazing Spider-Man (2012):

  • How to Unlock: Automatically available. Unlocks after starting the main campaign.
  • The updated design featured in The Amazing Spider-Man (2012 Film) was a departure from earlier versions.

    Amazing Spider-Man (2014):

  • How to Unlock: Automatically available. Unlocks after starting the main campaign.
  • Returning to its comic roots, the retooled version in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 looks almost identical to Spidey’s classic costume.

    Ultimate Spider-Man (Miles Morales):

  • How to Unlock: Unlocks during the main campaign, after completing Chapter 6.
  • After Peter Parker’s death in Marvel’s Ultimate-universe, he was replaced by the young Miles Morales, who appeared with his own distinctive black and red suit.

    Ricochet Suit:

  • How to Unlock: Unlocks during the main campaign.
  • During the “Identity Crisis” story, Peter Parker was forced to take new super-heroic identities to continue crime-fighting.

    Big Time Suit:

  • How to Unlock: Clear one Hideout. New Hideouts become available as you complete story chapters.
  • This high-tech, Tron-inspired suit was built by Peter Parker during Dan Slott’s “Big Time” story-line to combat the Hobgoblin’s deadly sonic abilities.

    Scarlet Spider:

  • How to Unlock: Clear one Hideout. New Hideouts become available as you complete story chapters.
  • Kaine, one of Peter Parker’s clones created during the “Clone Saga” returned in his own on-going series in 2012.

    Spider-Man 2099:

  • How to Unlock: Clear one Hideout. New Hideouts become available as you complete story chapters.
  • The future Spider-Man (Miguel O’Hara) returns from Beenox’s “Spider-Man: Edge of Time” video-game. The character was originally created for Marvel’s futuristic 2099 line of comic books.

    Flipside Suit:

  • How to Unlock: Clear one Hideout. New Hideouts become available as you complete story chapters.
  • This strange robotic counterpart to Spider-Man created himself in the webhead’s image in the Marvel’s 2099 series.

    Spider-Armor MKII Suit:

  • How to Unlock: Clear one Hideout. New Hideouts become available as you complete story chapters.
  • Another shiny suit similar to “Big Time” — this time Peter Parker developed a sleek armored outfit to protect himself against firearms.

    Superior Spider-Man:

  • How to Unlock: Complete all 12 Combat Challenges — Available later in the story campaign.
  • The evil Otto Octavius (Dr. Octopus) switched bodies with Peter Parker during Dan Slott’s “Superior Spider-Man” run, bringing his own Doc Ock inspired Spider-suit.

    Hornet Suit:

  • How to Unlock: Complete All 15 Race Challenges — Available later in the story campaign.
  • During the “Identity Crisis” story, Peter Parker was forced to take new super-heroic identities to continue crime-fighting.

    Spider-Carnage:

  • How to Unlock: Complete the story campaign.
  • This combination of the Carnage symbiote and Spider-Man’s costume appears late in the game’s campaign.

    • Noir Spider-Man: GameStop Pre-Order
    • Symbiote Costume: GameStop Pre-Order
    • Iron Spider Armor: GameStop Pre-Order

    Achievement / Trophy Unlocked

    • Fashionista (20 points / Bronze):
      Unlock all suits.
