The Australian Newsmedia Found Out That Dead or Alive: Dimensions Exists

Remember the “controversy” over Dead or Alive: Dimensions in parts of Europe? (Here’s a refresher from Sterling.) Well, somebody at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation found out about it and was shocked to find out that the game is not only available for sale in Australia, but that it got a mere PG rating from the censorship board.

Rather than considering that the government censors might know something they don’t about the content of a game they had probably never heard of before, ABC News decided to run a story with this hilariously sensational headline: “‘Child porn’ Nintendo game gets PG rating.” Brilliant! Excellent work, everyone. Seriously, guys, you make me proud. I wish I lived in Australia.

HA HA HA HAHAHAHA, oh goddam it *wipes tear away*, this would have been so much funnier if it didn’t work and their ratings went through the floor, but people are ing stupid and will definitely watch something with a title so utterly scandalous.

Taking a page out of Fox’s book, are we ABC?
