The Battlefield 3 Xbox 360 Servers Are Down!

So the PC version of Battlefield 3 has been having some problems, and I’ve even had some problems with crashing since I last spoke up about it. One of the big problems people have been having is that they can’t get the game to load at all to get into a multiplayer match.

And now people on Xbox 360 are having that same problem, as the servers for that console are down. Just, like, down. They’re just down. Nobody knows why, but @battlefield keeps tweeting about it, so I guess it’s serious. Holy hell, guys.

Why don’t games just work like they’re supposed to anymore?

The servers where back up after 3 hours and yes it is EA’s fault most likely because the publishers are responsible for servers.

@shawn: I never had an issue with the PC and the graphical quality is much better. I paid the same as you. Does this mean that if you got better value than the xbox users then I got better than you? :)

@ shawn pritty smart comment to say especially after the whole ps3 server being down for what almost a month i recall…and the fact that the ps3 server got hacked by some KID that was like 17 yrs old….lol you have fun not paying for your security when your account has credit card info on it…Ill pay my 70 bucks a year for top end security and a server thats actually encrypted

I might be talking out of my ass, but I think the issue is XBL connecting to EA servers. Instead of hosting the server on XBL its just connecting with XBL and transmitting. I noticed matches aren’t being dropped because one player left like it does in black ops but then there are going to be issues of connectivity because no native host is being used.

The EA Online XBox360 servers are down again. Again! This is a preventable issue that should not occur repeatedly. It would seem to me that EA is either incapable of having servers run their games (which does not seem realistic), or more likely, they are not allocating enough resources to keep the servers afloat. This is unacceptable for a company that clearly has the money and knowledge base to have stable game servers.

Hey I really wish people would stop disrespecting a game because the publisher is 2 stupid to realize that they need to fix it. And it will be fixed give it till Monday 10/31/11 then the servers will be up for good same thing happened to bad company 2 and yet people still play COD isn’t perfect considering once a new one comes out the old one is forgotten and ruined by hackers. Did I mention all the glitches. This is an exellent game but it’s just starting to walk Monday 10/31/11 it’s gonna be running. On my last thought the map packs and resurrection of bf2 maps redone with the frostbite 2 engine will be a nice treat for those who preordered.

Umm…I get the feeling the server crashes on the xbox are due to the vast amount of players xbox has over the PS3. Just saying…

ok so there are bugs i have been playing solid games on us servers from perth and had no problems just wait guys the reason the servers are down is cause they need to be fixed it a new game with a new method of conecting direct to servers with the xbox its new to xbox ok so just let them work the issue and if your really so annoyed get a new hobby after all its a game its ment to be fun and its not like its never going to work right it will be fixed just a matter of time
