The second part of the timeline for The Chronicles of Spellborn is up. The first part of this dev log series covered The Great Collapse. This second article gives players background details on The Awakening.
The Awakening begins as The Barbarian Seal crashes into Quarterstone melting the Undying Ice and releasing its prisoners. The surviving humans and daevi restore Quarterstone which is established as the capital of the Enclave of the Five Sacrifices.
The article describes the discovery of a nest of eggs laid by the Vhelgar Queen, Satanamura. These lesser Vhelgar, children of the Queen which once enslaved both human and daevi, become steeds for the races. Quarterstone and its districts are also described in detail in this dev log.
