The Dark Knight Xbox 360s Going for Big on eBay

Gaming TodayOnly 110 of these Dark Knight-themed Xbox 360 systems were made and given away in various contests. As if the lucky winners hadn’t already made everyone jealous enough, they’re now looking to cash in on the year’s biggest movie.

A quick trip to eBay will net you a number of results for the limited edition consoles, which sport The Dark Knight logo on one side and a menacing image of The Joker on the other. It looks extremely sleek, and they certainly caught my interest… until you notice the prices, which range from $500 to over $1000. That’s a lot of cash for a system whether you already own one or not, and personally I don’t know if I’d want to play games with the thing or display it somewhere in my home where no one is allowed to touch it.

If you’re impulsive and actually have some money available, I’d recommended not clicking the link above. It’s (probably) not worth ending up without electricity for a few months just to get your hands on one of these suckers.

To be honest w/ the awesomeness of the Dark Knight movie, and the fact that its Heath Ledger’s last complete movie, I don’t think $800 – $1000 is too much to play for one of these consoles.

I’m fishing around, I might look around to see if I can get one for a little less just for the heck of it. I’m disappointed to see that its a regular console rather than an Elite.

You’re gonna be awful disappointed when it red-rings and you get a plain white refurb back after sending it in for repair.

Glad to see another PS3 fanboy look past the fact that MS has stopped using the cheap that causes the RROD, therefore nullifying your entire post.

Don’t get mad because Sony doesn’t give a about you.
