The Monkees Get Covered in Rock Band This Week

Harmonix has announced this week’s batch of downloadable content for Rock Band. The three randomly assorted tracks will each cost $1.99 or 160 Microsoft Points, and will be available tomorrow on the Xbox Live Marketplace tomorrow and on the PlayStation Store on Thursday.

The tracks are:

  • “Action” made famous by Sweet (cover)
  • “All the Small Things” by Blink 182
  • “Last Train to Clarksville” made famous by the Monkees (cover)

While it’s just a cover, I know people are going to be plenty happy to have a song by The Monkees to rock out to. And, as Evil Avatar points out, it’ll also add to the otherwise sparsely populated collection of songs from the 60s.

This’ll be a blast to sing along to.
“Take the laaast train to Clarksville!”
