The Neverhood Creator is Making a New Clay Adventure

The creator of The Neverhood and Earthworm Jim, Doug TenNapel has announced plans to develop a new clay-based adventure game. A movie and a mobile version of The Neverhood were both in the works, but were subsequently cancelled.

Over on Facebook, the comic book artist stated that he’ll be cooperating with Mike Dietz and Ed Schofield, both of whom also worked on the two aforementioned games, to develop the new title. He described the upcoming game, which remains unnamed, as a “full sized, PC and Mac point and click adventure game in clay and puppet animation.”

TenNapel says he intends to release more details about the title in the coming days, and that he’s also gotten Terry Taylor, composer of The Neverhood, onboard to perform the score.
