The Old Republic Targeting Holiday Release but Won’t Launch Until It’s “Solid”

In an interview with Eurogamer, BioWare co-founder Dr. Greg Zeschuk stated that while a holiday release is being targeted for The Old Republic, the company will only “pull the trigger” when the game is “solid” enough.

Zeschuk went on to say, “This game’s launch is going to be one of the biggest launches ever in the history of gaming.” It’s easy to see why — combine one of the most popular franchises in the world with one of the best RPG developers in the world and you have a recipe for an explosive launch. The question is — how will TOR fare post-launch? The game will inevitably be compared to its greatest competitor, World of Warcraft. Which titan will win?

Its like that commercial where the company doesn’t care about the consumers all they tell them is that “they are working on it”.
