The Sims 3 University Life Adds Keg Parties And Bad Grades

The Sims 3 is easily Electronic Arts’ most popular game, and they’re more than happy to keep building expansions for the title so long as it keeps selling as well as it has been over the past couple of years since its release.

The newest announced two expansions for The Sims 3, which are set to offer a host of new experiences to the game. According to the official blog, in The Sims 3: University Life, players will be able to enroll their Sims into college and allow them to learn new skills and graduate into the adult world, better prepared to face its challenges. In addition to just going to university, Sims will be able to join one of three social groups (nerds, rebels, jocks), and participate in keg parties.

The expansion does for Sims 3 as the University expansion did for the previous game in the series. University Life is set for a March 5 release date on both the PC and Mac.

A trailer of University Life can be seen below.

The other planned expansion is The Sims 3: Island Paradise. Set for a June release, this expansion allows Sims to go on a vacation to a tropical island. Sims will be able to manage their very own island resort, customize a personal houseboat, and search the islands for buried treasure. Unfortunately, I doubt that it’ll allow Sims to have a Far Cry experience and get taken hostage by Vaas while on their trip.
