The Sims 3 University Life Lets You Earn As Many Degrees As You Want
EA Maxis has put together a list of commonly asked questions about the upcoming Sims 3 expansion pack, University Life, with direct answers to each of them. Among the questions raised by fans—presumably those on the game’s forums and various communities—include whether Sims can get married and pregnant while in college (the answer is “no”) and how joining a sorority or fraternity works.
The Q&A reveals that, just like in European countries, Sims can spend as much time as they like in university and earn all the degrees they want.
Finally, Sims can apprentice under the university’s “almighty mascot” for various shenanigans, and that Sims attending college or university won’t have to worry about losing their job outside of the expansion pack, as it’s put on hold. Apparently SimCity or wherever it is these Sims live is a socialist paradise. And you know, that’s a good thing.
“While Sims are at university, we definitely make room for them to focus on their Academics. If they had a job in their home world, it will be put on hold while they attend university. There are multiple ways to earn money while at university. The job board is a good place for Sims to start looking for ways to earn extra cash but it is by no means the only way to make money. You’ll have options!”
