The Ten Best Confused #GATV Tweets

Grand Theft Auto 5 is all over the Internet like white on rice. It’s hard to avoid that kind of saturation with such a hotly anticipated game, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have a little fun with all the fervor.

We already reported on the GAT V DLC pack for Saints Row IV (it’s free on Steam! Go get it!), but we’ve only begun to scrape the surface when it comes to the Twitter circus this is causing. With two very similar hashtags – #GTAV for Grand Theft Auto V, and #GATV for the SRIV DLC pack – you’re bound to get some overlap — something Deep Silver was definitely counting on.

Here’s a sample of some of the best confused tweets coming out of today’s events. For a full list of GAT V tweets, check out the promoted trend on Twitter.

The first step is always denial, right?

…then comes the shocking realization of the truth. Straight out of Neo’s pasty, Matrix-y mouth.

HE BOUGHT THE WRONG GAME!

That’s a lot of boys playing Saints Row IV DLC…

Can you rob jewelry stores in SRIV? I don’t think you can…

Please note the #socialmedia hashtag…

I bet Grand Theft Auto 5 will be sold out, too.

He says it with such conviction.

Everyone stop tweeting! You’re doing it wrong!

High praise for Deep Silver…maybe?

Is Gamefront a suckhole for RockStar GTAV because this game fails and isn’t that great at all on the console.in the way it handles, it seems though, the console is best place for it to stay. Consoles are fixed and limited. RockStar proves to be limited in all its actions these days, they are just too much of a chicken to go with the PC, The PC is far too advanced system for them to code for these days and they can’t commit to it, being the weak ass company ROCKSTAR can stick its game right up its merry arse.
