The Top 10 Worst Call of Duty/Modern Warfare Glitches Ever

The Call of Duty series has a proud history of glitches and exploits that allowed players to do all manner of things never intended by the developers. While many of these were patched, thankfully, let’s take a look back at some of the worst glitches we’ve seen over the years, and ponder what glitches Modern Warfare 3 has in store for us.

10. Modern Warfare 2 Perk Glitch – Instant Cold Blooded Pro

When an enemy Pave Low is going down, every bullet you pump into it counts as one enemy killstreak destroyed — insane, I know. Because of this, getting the Cold Blooded Pro perk becomes trivial.

9. Modern Warfare 2 Elevator Glitch – Out of Derail

“Elevator” glitches consist of finding a spot on a map where, after some careful maneuvering, you will be boosted into the air by the magical force of cheating. This gives new meaning to the last name, “Skywalker.”

8. Modern Warfare 2 Rank-Up Glitch – 80,000 XP Per Game

This isn’t so much a glitch as it is an exploit, and you can’t do it alone. It’s a cheap way to rank up quickly, meaning you can become a high-rank player without the skill to back it up.

7. World at War – One Man Zombie Glitch

Zombies are dumb — I get it. But they aren’t this dumb. Some AI pathing glitch causes these members of the living impaired to stand around like dullards, clawing desperately at air.

6. Modern Warfare 2 – Infinite Ammo Glitch

The details of this “glitch” are spotty, at best — it may just be a hacked server. However, the results are too hilarious to pass up. Just wait for the AC130.
