The Top 5 Most Disappointing Games of 2013

Our friends Phil Hornshaw and Ross Lincoln previously discussed the various major disappointments of the past year in a detailed editorial, but here Mitch is getting down and dirty with the games that let us down the most in the past 364 days. Take a look and then tell us how wrong this list is in the comments below. I’m about to yell at Mitch about this myself, and I shouldn’t be the only one sounding off at him.

Simcity should be the winner in the category of ‘publisher/developer who displayed the most outright contempt for players of the franchise’ and is also easily top two (along with CM) for ‘publisher/developer caught telling actual lies about product’, but Battlefield 4 has to be the overall winner by virtue of most public exposure of epic fail and largest number of gamers pissed off.

The list makes sense, but COD Ghost should be on it. For the reason of being the same exact shlt game for the 7 thousandth time in a row.

New engine? Not even. Same engine barely updated.

The five games mentioned were bad (Apart from Sonic I have no experience with it) but Rome II: Total War and X Rebirth would have easily made my top five, shame they were not included.
