The Tyranny of King Washington DLC for Assassin’s Creed 3 Available Today
Assassin’s Creed 3 expands today with the meta-fictional first episode of The Tyranny of King Washington. The episode is the first of a three-part DLC campaign set after the events of the main campaign in an alternate reality.
Dubbed “The Infamy”, the first episode sees Connor waking up from a bad dream to discover that his efforts to deliver justice to the United States of America have been for naught, and that the once noble George Washington has taken it upon himself to seize the America as its king. Regardless of how the campaign will play out, the premise is certainly original.
The Infamy takes players through the beginning of Connor’s journey to dethrone King Washington. The Tyranny of King Washington is set to continue in two more episodes: The Betrayal, and The Redemption, set for release on March 19 and April 23, respectively.
Each episode is available for purchase on Xbox Live for 800 MS Points, or for $9.99 on Windows and the PLayStation Network. All three episodes are a part of the game’s Season Pass, which is available for $29.99 and includes every other DLC for the title, including the Hidden Secrets and Battle Hardened packs.
