The Uplay Passport for Driver: San Francisco Has Been Cancelled

Remember how I told you about copies of Driver SF inexplicably somehow not including Uplay Passports? Well, it turns out that was a screwup, and Ubisoft is responding to this screwup by unlocking Driver SF’s multiplayer for all time.

“Due to a printing error on the insert of some copies of Driver: San Francisco in North America, Ubisoft has elected to provide the Driver Uplay Passport content for free,” a spokesperson said.

“Although this problem does not affect players outside of North America, we have decided to mirror this offer to everyone in the world in order to be fair to all our players.”

WEEEEEEEEEEE!

I bet the company that was responsible for this mishap just lost their backside on project. I’m sure they are giving Ubisoft one heck of a discount next time around.

I can’t wait to buy a used copy of Driver:SF now!
