The Voices of Spider-Man Past Return for Shattered Dimensions

There have been some great Spider-Man cartoons in the last 35 years, from Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends to the recent Spectacular Spider-Man. With the four distinct versions of the character in Spidey’s upcoming game Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, Activision took the opportunity to hire four distinct voices from the past to bring the wall-crawler to life.

Not every voice actor has name recognition, but some of these names are pretty familiar. Neil Patrick-Harris (nee Doogie Howser & Dr. Horrible) and  Daniel Barnes (Greg Brady from the Brady Bunch films) lead the cast. The cast also includes Josh Keaton, who played Peter Parker in the most recent animated series, and also Dan Gilvezan, the voice of Spider-Man when we was hanging out with Firestar and Iceman.

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions is due out September 7th, and looks like it might wipe away the horrible memories of Web of Shadows since it features versions of the superhero’s Amazing, Ultimate and 2099 forms as well as a new stealth-centric Noir setting. The game is planned for Xbox 360, PC and PS3.
