Its Memorial Day Weekend folks and so you can hurry up and get to the family picnic that you are dreading more than a cavity search, I will get right to the offerings from FileFront this week.Other than the highly anticipated Penny Arcade demo, here are some of the other ones you can check out this weekend:

  • Mount & Blade – Thanks to user feedback on the past two versions, the devs have been able to fix a number of bugs and improve the performance of the game and hope that version 0.952 will be more stable and more fun to play.
  • Virtual Villagers 3 (PC) – Guide a tribe of castaways as they live, breed, and discover secrets about their mysterious home in this real-time sim adventure. Embark on a journey with a group of villagers in search of a new part of the island to populate. Land on the hidden shores of the northern side of Isola and explore what was once a secret city. Find new sources of food to nourish your villagers and help them rebuild the remains of this mysterious city. Who lived here before? Where have they gone? What is the secret of Isola? Featuring real-time gameplay: new surprises every time you turn the game on, discover who among your tribe is destined to become Chief, ivestigate and rebuild the remains of a ruined city.
  • Little Farm – Have a down-home good time at Little Farm, where you’ll use your puzzle-solving and matching skills to help The Normans adjust to farm life and grow truck-loads of vegetables! The Normans left the city to retreat to Uncle Nate’s farm-but this isn’t a farm of leisure! Battle insects, animals and weather as you race against the clock to grow your harvest. Match like-colored patches in your farm field to create squares to water and grow plump pumpkins, excellent eggplants and tasty tomatoes! The further your territory expands, the more veggies you can sell, and with the extra income, you can spend your earnings on tools that will make life easier on Little Farm.Earn extra points by finding the largest Best Match in the field. Or, find Uncle Nate’s lost coin, and he will help you find the five best puzzle solutions. Make matches quickly to find the Wild patches of fertilizer that will help you make better matches! Fun game modes let you defend your crops against insects, and harvest your crop in a limited time to earn extra points.
  • Chaos Theory - Chaos Theory, an innovative puzzle game, now available via Steam. Chaos Theory leverages Steamworks to offer achievements as gamers play through a mix of arcade-like dexterity tests and challenging puzzle elements, packed into an atmospheric environment. The main objective in Chaos Theory is to fill “Collectors” with magnetically charged particles. These particles move freely in the environment and are influenced by other objects and their magnetic forces. To avoid a Déjà-vu effect, Chaos Theory offers over 50 diverse levels, and homemade levels may be exchanged via the blurredVisi.

Here are just some of the patches that hit this past week: Mount & Blade v0.952, The Settlers: Rise of an Empire v1.6, Armed Assault v1.08 to v1.14 , Enemy Territory: Quake Wars v1.5 Full Patch, and SimCity Societies v1.04.243 Patch.
