The Wii Enters the Arena of Online Gaming With Pokemon Battle Revolution

pokemon-battle-revolution.jpg

Pokemon Battle Revolution is out for the Wii (Well Tuesday anyway). This groundbreaking title is revolutionizing the way the Wii is played in America. Not only is this the first Pokemon title for the Wii, it is the first online Wii title for America. This is also the first Wii game that wirelessly links to the Nintendo DS and the first to use the DS as a controller.

Using the Nintendo Wi-fi connection, players can exchange friend codes to pit their Pokemon from Diamond or Pearl against up to four friends on line. Or they can choose to search for new opponents of similar skill level. Use the DS or Wii-mote to enter Colosseum Battle Mode with ten different colosseums to set the stage for their own epic matches.

Pokemon Battle Revolution, rated E for Everyone, enters the arena June 25.
