The Witcher 3 Further Along in Development Than Cyberpunk 2077 (RUMOR)

CD Projekt RED has an unannounced dark fantasy title, which may or may not be The Witcher 3, in a more advanced development stage than Cyberpunk 2077, but we won’t be seeing either title released in 2013 — or so the rumors go.

The Witcher forums translated some snippets from Piotr Gnyp’s Twitter Feed, taken from an interview with CD Projekt RED in which the developer allegedly revealed details about its future plans.

Other details leaked include Cyberpunk 2077 being the first in a series, larger than The Witcher, and multiplatform, 2013 being a smaller year for the dev, with no Witcher-caliber releases, both The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 appearing on next-gen consoles, and 2013 not seeing The Witcher released on PlayStation 3.

So I have to wait til 2014 to see Witcher 3? QQ. Doesn’t CD Projekt realize I’ll most likely have a newborn baby and be unable to play at that time?

so this time they affront the multiplateforme at the start ? not sure i like that, the force of The Witcher was the PC strong side, diluated a little with the 2… I really, really hope they don’t fall where all the other editor did : console first and pc second :(
