How to Make a “Game of Thrones” Sword. For Real (VIDEO)

Our pals at Break Media have launched a new YouTube channel called AWE Me, and its first show is called “Man at Arms.”

What’s “Man at Arms” about? The series will follow expert Hollywood blacksmith Tony Swatton as he builds real-life versions of iconic pop-culture weapons. Swatton’s work has appeared in such movies as Pirates of the Caribbean, The Last Samurai, X-Men, and Spider-Man.

And, “Man at Arms” has launched its first episode, depicting the creation of Jaime Lannister’s sword from Game of Thrones(!)

Check out the creation of the Lannister sword:

In future episodes, Swatton will recreate and demo Raphael’s Sais from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Batman’s Batarangs. A new episode will be released every Monday.

I have a friend who once tried to forge the Buster Sword…
