Titanfall Adds Black Market and In-Game Currency

A new update to Titanfall will allow players to earn and spend credits of Burn Card packs and Titan Insignias.

The Black Market, as described by a recent post on Titanfall’s official website, will contain “packs of random Burn Cards and Titan Insignias.” According to designer David Shaver, the Burn Card packs are designed so that players can buy sets tailored toward their preferred play style.

“The primary goal of Burn Card packs is to give you more choice in the kinds of Burn Cards you get and to fit different play styles. The Cards you get are random, but you get a set of Cards you know you will enjoy using.”

Players will be able to buy these items with credits awarded for match victories, match completions, completing daily challenged, selling burn cards and for their first victory of the day. After level 50, a percentage of earned XP will also be converted into credits. The Black Market itself will be made available after level 11.
