[UPDATED] Titanfall Is Not Coming To The Playstation 4
UPDATE: Vince Zampella just took to Twitter to talk about the Titanfall news. It sounds like Respawn was aware of the launch window “exclusivity” to Microsoft platforms, but the lifetime extension deal was only recently inked by EA. Zampella is also saying Titanfall as a franchise is not walled off front the PS4 — only the first in the series is – and that Respawn will be making games for the PS4 in the future.
Always MS exclusive at launch, great partner and focus is good for a startup. EA made a deal for the rest, we only found out recently =(

Titanfall will launch on the Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC in March, but it will not make an appearance on the PS4.
During EA’s investor call earlier today, EA CFO Blake Jorgensen confirmed as much, saying Titanfall would be playable on the PC and Microsoft’s consoles, “for the lifetime of the title on Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.”
While Titanfall was always going to launch on the PC and Microsoft consoles, many had believed the availability on the Xboxes and PC [sidebar: saying a game is "exclusive" when it will be on three platforms is a little strange, Internet], was timed, and that Respawn’s inaugural game would eventually hit the PS4 later in 2014.
For anyone who thought that Titanfall was coming to the PS4 later rather than never — myself included — you thought WRONG.
