Titanfall is Respawn Entertainment’s Debut Game, Slated for PC

Titanfall is Respawn Entertainment’s debut title, and it’s coming to the PC. The The reveal of the game surfaced on the next cover of Game Informer magazine, which went live today on the Google Play store (via NeoGAF).

The game has been in development since Infinity Ward’s former leads broke away from Activision to form their own studio with EA in 2010. It is expected to make its debut appearance (outside of the magazine) at E3 this year.

The cover image describes Titanfall as a “bold vision for next-gen multiplayer” and the accompanying article states that it’s being developed for both the Xbox One and PC. There’s no word on whether any version is planned for the PlayStation 4. The cover artwork depicts a woman blasting away a gigantic mech.

Given EA’s involvement with the game, it’s a good reason to expect the game to be an Origin-exclusive title.

Further details are forthcoming.

COD4 was the best Call of Duty ever made. The fact that they have the original dev team for COD4 working on this hopefully will be epic.

I want to plat against all the people who say mouse and keyboard runs circles around controller. I use both controller and mouse and keyboard, but this game really is effective when using a controller I believe, especially with aim assist. I will try both controller and mouse and keyboard what ever I like more I will go with. This guy is doing work with a controller. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=51qHG41GWLg
