Titanfall Update 6 Live Today, Adds Skirmish Mode, New Burn Cards

EA is launching the sixth update for Titanfall today on PC and Xbox One.

The biggest feature in the newest update is Pilot Skirmish. This game mode will pit pilots against each other with no titans or AI around to get in the mix. Since Pilot Skirmish will be restricted to eight players on each team, so this game mode will not show up in the Variety Pack playlist. In addition to Pilot Skirmish, Update 6 will also add Marked for Death as a permanent game mode, rather than the temporary mode it was originally intended to be.

Update 6 will also add “Black Market Daily Deals,” which will give players the ability to to buy burn cards from a limited stock that changes constantly. The update also adds an auto-fill option for burn cards, so you won’t ever have that moment when you realize you forgot to set your burn cards. Finally, there’s a new ultra-rare burn card called “Roll the Dice,” that, “gives you the ability to tap into your entire deck from inside a match.”

There are several other changes, including the addition of a color-blind mode and the removal of the penalty for joining a game late. in addition to a number of bugfixes and gameplay changes. You can check out all the changes over on the official Titanfall site.
