Titanfall War Games Map, DLC Pricing Detailed

Titanfall developer Respawn has released screenshots and details about the War Games map from its Expedition DLC.

The map, according to designer Jason McCord, was built to be a “parkour playground” and uses the conceit of a training simulation to combine elements from other maps like Angel City, Rise and Airbase Sierra. These elements will be distributed through the map as “themed areas” that “act as hardpoints” to contrast the buildings in-between, which will be relatively smooth in comparison.

These themed hard points, in turn, will be roughly separated by faction. IMC players, for instance, will start in a building styled after the Airbase Sierra map. The Militia, comparatively, will start the map in a section based on Angel City. The central part of the map will also feature a Rise-style tower “with small interior rooms” connected by a tight path that will be useful for wall running.

In addition to details about the War Games map, Respawn has also released pricing information concerning for the Expedition DLC itself. Expedition, as well as other future map packs, will all cost $9.99 each. The Expedition DLC itself is expected to release sometime next month.
