Tomb Raider: Reflections Trademark Filed By Square Enix

Square Enix Europe has filed a trademark for Tomb Raider: Reflections, Siliconera has reported.

While those interested in the game may wish to see a single-player DLC for Tomb Raider, the game’s global brand manager Karl Stewart recently stated that the studio had no plans to develop a single player expansion for the title. He did however add that the DLC for the game will be based around the multiplayer experience “for now”, which allows for the possibility of a single-player DLC.

In an interview with Siliconera, the game’s creative director Noah Hughes stated that the studio may have more for Lara to do beyond the end of Tomb Raider.

“In this story, we’re working on re-imagining and re-architecting Lara’s character first and foremost, but then we bring her off of the island and back out into the world, and we get to resolve more things beyond the island as it relates to Lara’s backstory and things like that,” Hughes said.

Due to the lack of information about Reflections, it’s impossible to say what it could refer to at this point, as it could be the title of a movie or even a sequel to Tomb Raider. We expect further details to surface in the coming weeks.

I’d vote, not for a DLC, but for another game entirely. Finished Tomb raider, thoroughly enjoyed it, felt like it was over too quickly, and very much looking forward to a sequel.
