Minecraft is literally everywhere. First it appeared in Borderlands 2, now the craze has spread to Torchlight 2. How to Find the Minecraft Easter Egg
NOTE: The special dungeon doesn’t always show up on this map! If it doesn’t, you’ll need to reset the map. To do so, select Lan game and choose the map re-roll option in the menu. Then you can play singleplayer with a new map. [Thanks to Tsukushi in the comments for this suggestion!]
- Wait until you reach Act 3. When there, continue doing quests as normal until you’re told to go to the Sundered Battlefield.
- In the battlefields, run up to the very northern edge of the map. All the way up to the top. Near the tip, you should find the entrance into a dungeon called “Notch’s Mine”. Notch is the handle of Markus Persson, a co-founder of Mojang and one of the original developers of Minecraft.
- Inside this very small dungeon you’ll find a handful of evil Creepers — infamous Minecraft enemies that hide in the shadows and explode when they get close.
- At the end of the dungeon, you’ll also find a treasure chest. Inside, you’ll find a very unique weapon called the Iron Sword.
