Total War: Rome II System Requirements Revealed

The Creative Assembly has unveiled the recommended, and minimum required specifications to run their upcoming war game, Total War: Rome II, ahead of the game’s release on September 3.

Here’s what you’ll need to get the game running:

OS: XP/ Vista/ Windows 7/ Windows 8
Processor: 2 GHz Intel Dual Core processor / 2.6 GHz Intel Single Core processor
Memory: 2GB RAM
Graphics: 512 MB DirectX 9.0c compatible card (shader model 3, vertex texture fetch support)
DirectX 9.0c
Hard Drive: 35 GB HD space
Screen Resolution: 1024×768

Players looking to get the most out of the game will need the following system specs:

OS: Windows 7/ Windows 8
Processor: 2nd Generation Intel Core i5 processor (or greater)
Memory: 4GB RAM
Graphics: 1024 MB DirectX 11 compatible graphics card
DirectX 11
Hard Drive: 35 GB HD space
Screen Resolution: 1920×1080

Players who pre-purchase Rome II ahead of its release will receive free access to the Greek States DLC pack, which sees the addition of three new factions into the game, which includes Athens, Sparta, and Epirus.

Likewise, players who pre-order the game will also receive the Greek Hellenic Armor for the Pyro and the Egyptian Cheetah set for the Scout in Team Fortress 2.
