Total War: Shogun 2 Mod Tools with Steam Workshop Released

The Total War Team announced on the official forums a tremendous boon for the modding community: the Total War: Shogun 2 Assembly Kit, a new suite of community tools for modding, available today.

In addition to the tools, the team also announced full Steam Workshop integration, including a mod manager, active as of today, which allows the creation and uploading of user-made Shogun 2 mods.

Additionally, TEd, the previously released battlefield editor for Shogun 2, has had an update allowing the creation of historical battles and integration with the Steam Workshop.

We’ve already seen some great mods for Shogun 2; I can’t wait to see what modders will come up with now that they have these new tools.
