Toys ‘R’ Us Flier Outs Mortal Kombat DLC

An advertisement from toy seller Toys ‘R’ Us that went out with Sunday papers last week has outed Netherrealm Studio’s first Mortal Kombat DLC pack — it’ll be available on Xbox Live and the Playstation Network (fingers crossed) on Wednesday, May 4.

We found out recently from an interview with Netherreallm Producer Hans Lo over at CVG that the first DLC pack will include two new characters, each with their own unique set of fleshed out moves, combos, fatalities and X-rays. Those characters are Scarlet, another addition to the Kitana and clones crew, and Kenshi of Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance.

So if the 20 bazillion characters the game shipped with aren’t enough, congratulations — Toys ‘R’ Us says Wednesday is your lucky day.
