Activision has unveiled the rack list for the upcoming DS installment of the Guitar Hero franchise. Strangely though, it only includes 15 songs, which is down from the 25 count that the publisher was claiming before. The rest will probably need to unlocked throughout the course of the game or possible downloaded later. Either way, it’s kind of an odd mix of tracks:
Do What You Want – OK Go- All The Small Things – Blink 182

- Are You Gona Be My Girl – Jet
- We’re Not Gonna Take It – Twisted Sister
- All Star – Smash Mouth
- Breed – Nirvana
- Jessie’s Girl – Rick Springfield
- Hit Me With Your Best Shot – Pat Benatar
- This Love – Maroon 5
- Heaven – Los Lonely Boys
- Helicopter – Bloc Party
- China Grove – The Doobie Brothers
- Rock and Roll All Nite – KISS (cover by Line 6)
- What I Want – Daughtry
Wait, is that Smash Mouth on the list? Seriously? I think I associate them more with those “Kids Bop” CDs they advertise on TV than with any actual music. As if the goofy non-guitar controls weren’t enough to deter people.

thats junk. what a waste. Activision whores out guitar hero like a $5 hooker. they will use the Guitar hero name on anything, i hate guitar hero because of this. and 15 songs =30 mins of gameplay, usless, you suck activision, why not be smart and make one good game for a console and add single songs for DL and add to that game, like Rock band, instead of a new game every 6 months, all songs for GH2, no good for GH3. all songs for GH3 no good for Areosmith GH. etc….. u only piss people off . total whores.

you guys are idiots, these aren’t the only songs, there’s 10 more left, these are only the ones that have been revealed. read closer or do more research before you start flaming activision. I know imma be dissapointed with this game….. as if taking out a 5th fret wasn’t torturing enough…. it better be worth it
