My enthusiasm for all things Twisted Metal probably spilled out quite a bit when I last wrote about Twisted Metal: Head On – Extra Twisted Edition and all of the extras it packs in. Today, David Jaffe posted once again on PlayStation.Blog, this time with a gameplay video of Head On for PS2 in action.
The level you see above is called Carnival of Darkness and is one of the four bonus levels from the unreleased Twisted Metal Black 2. Looks great to me, and I’ll be picking it up on February 5 for sure.

They need to make a good Twisted Metal PC game with good graphics. I’d buy it

Ditto that STALKER. I love the TM series and that looked like TM4 for a PSP. Well not as detailed as TM4 but artistically speaking, it did.

I think you two aren’t remembering what Twisted Metal 4 was really like. (Apart from it sucking, it was a PS1 game and subsequently doesn’t look very good these days.)
This is indeed a more-or-less high-res port of a PSP game, but who cares? It’s a great game with a ridiculous amount of extras for $20.
I don’t see them making a PC version of Twisted Metal anytime in the future (I know TM2 was on PC), but hopefully we’ll get something on PS3 at the very least.
