Twitch Broadcasting Hits Xbox One Alongside Titanfall

Further evidence the Xbox One is currently in beta and won’t see full launch until Titanfall is released: Microsoft announced this morning that Twitch broadcasting will launch on March 11, the same day as Respawn’s anticipated man-vs-mech shooter.

Microsoft made the announcement via the Xbox Wire, with Twitch Founder and CEO Emmett Shear describing the Xbox One app as “the most robust console integration of Twitch to date and setting a new bar for others to strive for.”

Of note, thanks to Kinect being included with every Xbox One, Twitch broadcasting will be ready to go from the jump. Microsoft said that “Xbox, broadcast” will be the voice command gamers can use at any time to begin live streaming play sessions, and Kinect will enable picture-in-picture video along with audio commentary. Notifications and interactive chat are also on tap. See how it all looks in the trailer below:
