Two Worlds II Challenges RPG Standards

logo_tw2TopWare Interactive aims to raise the bar for RPGs with it’s upcoming release of Two Worlds II. This sequel to the original hit Two Worlds will take players back to the world of Antaloor to explore the deserts and temples of the East.

Two Worlds II features a brand new engine from Reality Pump that makes the most of dynamic light sources, micro-detail Parallax Mapping, 24 Bit HDR Post Processing, Space Ambient Occlusion and Human Eye Accommodation. The AI and balancing standards have been overhauled as well. The new storyline features the work of experienced authors and the active combat system puts the adventure into this RPG.

When they claim that Two Worlds II will set new standards for graphical excellence, they aren’t bluffing. Just take a look as these screenshots.

I hope they change the old english to something a bit less silly. If I hear ‘for sooth’ one more time I’m cracking skulls.

that and the melee system. That system just made me laugh when my character would swing a sword. you had to literally be on top of them to hit them with a 3ft long blade.

Two Worlds Two? Really? Couldn’t they give it a subtitle instead. lol

I thought the originally was spectacularly mediocre, so I can’t see the game being all that great. Doesn’t look ugly though.

guess i am one of the few that really did enjoy two worlds, after it was fully patched anyway. Looking forward to this.
