Ubisoft Goes Old School With Might & Magic X Legacy

Ubisoft announced the revival of the Might & Magic role-playing series with Might & Magic X Legacy, a game which pays homage to the original titles.

Set after the events of Might & Magic Heroes VI, players will play in a party of four adventurers entangled in a web of intrigue and political machinations in and around the city of Karthal. As the city is on the verge of succession, the player characters will be forced to make allegiances and choose sides. The paths that they take and the actions they choose will determine their fate, and that of the city itself.

Like the original Might & Magic games, Legacy is a solo experience designed in the classic first-person RPG genre with turn-based combat. Players must create and lead a group of characters into the world, delve into dungeons, cities, and labyrinths, battle powerful foes, and collect ancient magical treasures.

On the ubisoft website there currently 3 images;one is the skeleton of a dragon identical to skyrim. An other is three character were straight out of Drakensang. Then a young mage identical of all mmorpg. Now made a search with google image and compare: DO; World of Xeen,,,the result IS NOT FAITHFUL AT ALL!
Why ubisoft sucks bethesda & blizzard at the same time and then gets ed BY THEM to give birth to A ?(Skyrim+diablo +heroes) Ubisoft IS A whore of course!
hEY uBI don’t TRY TO ME !

This is not from M&M classics, but from the heroes series … too bad ubi !

What have you done,I cannot see the magic touch of M&M! Monsters are identic as Warcrat/diablo/heroes.Where are all of the monsters of the real world of xeen so colored, &funny? The people need to do research about the real bestiary of M&M.NOW the monsters are all the same : ORC, GOBLIN ect …Why make a game just to please the fans of Diablo,Warcraft and forget the fans of Might & Magic! This does not make sense!

i wait to know more. Ubisoft could be regain me if they don’t crash the game (as they do habitually) like having a connection obligatory…
i am a fan of M&M series (too bad, the 9), not really HoMM (too repetitive for me) and the kickstarter success show that there is consumer for this type of game… I hope…

we’ll see (<– return playing Ar Tonelico)

Everything I’ve heard indicates this game will be typical Ubisoft garbage. Its *not* true turn-based play and always-connected DRM is confirmed.

It’s… not set on the worlds of Might and Magic 1-8?? Really? Gah. It’s been so long- as long as this is fun, I’m getting it.
