Ubisoft Offering PC Games for a Buck During Gamescom

These discounts are too deep not to bring up.

For the rest of the week while Gamescom is running in Cologne, Germany, Ubisoft has thrown some massive discounts at its PC titles, offering four for a mere dollar. It’s…a little crazy, actually.

Those four titles make up four daily deals, in which they’re discounted to the dollar price. Up first (today) is H.A.W.X. 2 Deluxe Edition, which normally goes for $20. You can snag it for $1 right now, right here.

Friday, Aug. 17, sees From Dust drop to $1. It’s submarine sim Silent Hunter 5 that gets cut down to a dollar on Saturday, Aug. 18, and then the coup de grace on Sunday, Aug. 19: Driver: San Francisco. $1. All day.

It’s worth tracking around Ubisoft’s store for other deals during the convention as well, as the Gamescom deal advises other titles will be slashes as much as 75 percent. Time to fill in your Ubisoft PC collection, methinks. More details are available right here.

Good for them, though I wouldn’t get it if they were free as long as they have those ridiculous DRM schemes attached to their games.

The only way I’ll play such an anti-customer laden game is if payed to or after cutting said “strings”.
