Uhm… Hello to You Too, Battlefield? (PIC)

…Hello?

Is it me you’re looking for?

Sent via Twitter, this is the most bizarre thing I’ve seen in a while. Little explanation is given, but it seems some bug has filled every entry in this poor fellow’s Battlefield 3 key bindings screen with the word “Hello.” I would have been less surprised to see lorem ipsum filling the screen.

Between the Battlefield 3 X-box 360 servers being down and the troubles PC gamers have been having playing the game, this launch is turning disastrous.

But, hey… The graphics in the screenshots are still awesome, right?

This is not the way i imagined the game, but it will be down for a few days and then it will be patched, I think that we all can benefit from a short break in our video game lives =P.

The main thing I’m disappointed about: I don’t really like the Web-browser based game launcher… just doesn’t seem to work that well for me.

I wonder if he can change the bindings to say Goodbye

Its really not all that bad well at least for console versions. Funny thing
is that people said you were stupid if you bought it on pc but i guess that was wrong.

my question is, did they rush it to try and beat MW3 out the gate, and have it out 2 weeks before their launch? but with these bumps, will they be able to hold it together and patch it quick enough for those they are looking to “steal” away from other games.

I agree about the web launcher. I HATE that thing. During beta it rarely worked at all and I’m glad they fixed that. I prefer the game to be loaded instead of having to reload it everytime. Wonder who’s bright idea that was.

As far as any other problems, I’ve not experienced anything. I’ve run the game without hitch, except for one map always rubber banding, since the day before launch (Korean proxy work around). So I can’t agree that they rushed it out at all. I hope they get everything fixed soon for everyone that is having problems though.

Must be the new fashion trend for game developers to put out 1/2 finished games that have server problems, so they can beat the competition to our wallets…just look at THQ. Keep up the good work guys we’ll be sure to remember you the next time you put a game out. BF3 vs. MW3. Well I guess we know now who one that one. Looks like BF3 thinks it’s in a sprint race to beat MW3. While MW3 is pacing itself for a marathon. Patience is a virtue BF3.
